Facilities The Westgate Room

The Westgate Room has been fully refurnished and re-decorated and handsome new pendant lights and illumination on the re-hung pictures add to the atmosphere, which is complemented by the restored fireplace with a fire-basket and live coals. The effect is light, airy and welcoming.

Capable of accommodating up to 44 silver service diners but usually laid out in brasserie style the room is often used by members dropping in with wives or friends for lunch  where they may prefer a slightly quieter environment. It is also frequented by our many societies (eg Literary, Cricket, Golf, Wine, Art Societies) for their own functions.
