Welcome to the Cardiff and County Club, where the finest traditions of dining and friendship continue to be enjoyed in magnificent surroundings.
The Club has an enviable reputation for its tradition of serving fine food in a convivial atmosphere, surrounded by magnificent Victorian splendour. Apart from lunches, served with an ever changing daily menu, the Club also caters for functions and parties, often linked to special events such as Burns Nicht, St David's Day, Seafood Evenings, Mothering Sunday, Musical Evenings (Opera, Jazz, Songs from the Shows), Dylan Thomas Dinner, Chairman's Christmas Cocktail Party and, of course, the Wales home rugby internationals.
The Club thrives on the continued introduction of new members by recommendation from existing Members and it is usually as guests that Members first get to know and enjoy this wonderful Club.
The Committee actively encourages prospective members to join and the process of proposing and seconding Members is not complicated or time consuming.
The Club building houses outstanding facilities for dining, reading, meetings, recreation, entertaining and socialising. All the function rooms house examples of the art collection amassed by the Club and ably administered by the Art Society. From original cartoons in the WC to fine equine paintings in the Board Room there is something of interest to everyone.
